The Posadas of the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara

The Posadas of the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara are official hostel-type accommodations managed directly by the Foundation, designed to host pilgrims and hikers along the route. The term “Posada” recalls the ancient meaning of refuge or inn, and in the Sardinian language it means “small hotel.”

These facilities offer simple and low-cost hospitality, in line with the spirit of the walk, and serve as a reliable point of support, as they are open year-round by reservation only.

Very often, the Posadas are former public buildings that had fallen into disuse and have been renovated and converted into guest facilities by the CMSB Foundation.

To access the Posadas, it is mandatory to have the Pilgrim Credential.
